Iconifying the quotes (part 2)

Six months ago i have introduced icons for the quotes which appear randomly on the bottom of every page of this site. During those last six months i have created seven eight more halftone portraits to visualize the creators of the quotes. Let me introduce to you:

Clicking on the icon will bring up a larger version accompanied with the original and an alternative version with a gray background.

I have just noticed that women are clearly underrepresented among the quotes and consequently among the halftones as well. I will try to change that. Maybe you could help me. Send in quotes of women as a comment, and i will try to create a portrait of the female intellectual.
